YOUR GIFTS BRING JAZZ TO OUR COMMUNITY

For over a decade, the River Valley Jazz Society has not only brought incredible jazz music to Central Wisconsin but has also provided jazz education scholarships to students in our community, including students at Wausau Conservatory of Music and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point at Wausau, ensuring that the next generation of great jazz musicians has an opportunity to learn and thrive.

There are two ways to give a gift: You can become a Jazz on the River Series Sponsor, and/or be a donor for the River Valley Jazz Society.

Be a Jazz on the River Series Sponsor. Jazz on the River is a series of free summer concerts held on Sunday evenings in downtown Wausau, Wisconsin at Kickbusch Plaza, directly behind the Marathon County Downtown Library. Concerts start at 5:00 PM and run until 7:00 PM. Friends and families gather near the river to enjoy a Sunday evening and listen to jazz musicians from the midwest. Food trucks provide snacks, or people bring a picnic. The series attracts over 1,000 people over the summer.

The River Valley Jazz Society receives some grants for the series, but corporate sponsors are critical to keep the series going. Your $1,500 sponsorship helps us bring great jazz music to the Wausau area. When you are a sponsor your organization’s name and logo appears on all marketing throughout the year, and you will be thanked by the emcee twice at each concert during the summer series.
