Join us for the first year of our Jazz on the River series in Wausau's beautiful downtown River District! Sunday evening concerts begin July 9th through August 27th for a total of eight concerts in this dynamic jazz series! Concerts are held at the Library Plaza from 5pm - 7pm with a rain location downtown in the Wausau Center Mall in front of the old Sears store (easy parking is available in the north Sears ramp at the corner of Forest and 5th Streets).

Our August 6th concert features Janet Planet and her band. A working musician for more than 35 years, Janet has been self-produced and managed for the majority of her career. A productive recording artist, performer, teacher and clinician, her concert schedule takes her to universities, jazz festivals and clubs across the USA and internationally. 

The Library Plaza is located behind Marathon County Public Library, downtown Wausau. Parking is available at and near this picturesque venue. Lawn chairs and picnic dinners are encouraged and welcomed!
