Join us for the first year of our Jazz on the River series in Wausau's beautiful downtown River District! Sunday evening concerts begin July 9th through August 27th for a total of eight concerts in this dynamic jazz series! Concerts are held at the Library Plaza from 5pm - 7pm with a rain location downtown in the Wausau Center Mall in front of the old Sears store (easy parking is available in the north Sears ramp at the corner of Forest and 5th Streets).

Our July 16th concert features Jazz Central Voices, a select community vocal jazz ensemble at UW-Marathon County.  The group consists of community members from central Wisconsin and beyond, including music educators, current music majors, and other professionals with strong backgrounds in music.  The ensemble's repertoire includes classic big band era swing tunes, a cappella arrangements of jazz standards, and modern vocal jazz compositions.

The Library Plaza is located behind Marathon County Public Library, downtown Wausau. Parking is available at and near this picturesque venue. Lawn chairs and picnic dinners are encouraged and welcomed!
